Milan Italy – The boys from Milan are scheduled for a friendly match-up with Luxembourg in Italy on May 29 gaining a hometown advantage over the diminutive nation’s top football team for a game of friendlies. It’s last encounter with Luxembourg was well over 24 years ago where they won 3-0. Then, on Sunday, June 1 they will then meet with Russia in Zurich for another game of friendlies wrapping up the prelude to the 2012 Euro Championship that will begin on June 8 with Poland taking on Greece. The two countries last met in 2005 where game resulted in a draw.

Previously, Italy has already participated in three games of friendlies beating Poland 2-0 and losing 1-0 to both Uruguay and the United States since qualifying for the Euro 2012 Football Championship. Many fans believe that the odds are with Italy against their Russia since the Mediterranean country has a much track record than Russkies.
