Sunderland also comes off of a draw 1-1 against Liverpool thanks to Liverpool’s Luis Suarez who caused the equalizer denying Sunderland. Sunderland could have taken the lead as they were awarded at the 20 min mark but Sebastian Larsson curled it off the box just a bit wide of the post.
